What am I suppose to feel?

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 23, 2012, 6:58 PM

Just an hour ago, I got home from work and there was a letter sitting on the counter, when I opened it and read it I realized it was from my birth mother whom I haven't hard from in over 20 years of my life (I was adopted as a small baby) I read the letter and cried because it was so sudden and yet so heartfelt that all the emotions came to the serface at once in those tears.

I haven't seen nor heard a word from her in a very long time so I'm a bit confused and lost...what should I say? What should I do? She gave me her personal e-mail adress so I can e-mail her, but what do I say?

We've begun an email exchange and it's really fun. ^_^
